French Bronze Harpist 1890's Antique Sculpture, Signed Faure de Brousse

A magnificent genuine bronze sculpture, "The Harpist" is signed "Faure de Brousse," and dates from the 1890's. The warm color contrasts with the red marble base on this work of art from France.

Sculptor Vincent Desire Faure de Brousse lived 1876-1908, and was a prolific artist, his statues can be found across Europe and especially in France.

The pensive young woman is taking a break from her harp, her dress beautifully draped in a classical composition.

Measurements are 10" diameter at the base and 25" tall.
