Dated 1919, this charming little French stove or heater looks like it would still work. The brown drip glaze porcelain finish is beautiful, there is chip on one side, see photos.
Nickel mounts and "Eisenglass" or mica mineral windows are all in very good condition. Even the shaker to loosen ashes into the catch pan still works. A handle on the right side operates the damper.
This antique stove is signed "Arthur Martin, Revin," which is near the border with Belgium. Fired with briquets, the lid is hinged, so there is a spot for a coffee pot. Size is 16" x 16" and 36" tall.
