German Art Deco 1930's Antique Westminster Clock

An impressive authentic Art Deco period mantel clock plays familiar Westminster or Whittington chime melodies, and has a dramatic carved walnut case.

Signed "Urgos," and expertly made in Germany in the 1930's, the case has a very fine finish with a few mars for character, see photos.

The brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled, it keeps excellent time. On the dial are levers for the two chime tunes, which play on the quarter hour. There is also a "silent/chime" lever.

Measurements of this historic antique are 29" long, 7" deep and 10" tall.
