Hamilton 40 Drawer Oak 1890 Printer File Cabinet

Signed by famous maker, "Hamilton," a 40 drawer oak printer's file cabinet dates from the 1890's.

The original finish on solid oak is well worn and stained with ink - it has charming antique patina and character. Every drawer has a cast iron pull embossed "Hamilton," inside are notches for adjustable dividers.

Many of the drawers have engraved prints on the bottoms to show where logos of brand advertizing, lodges and schools were stored.

Interior size is 30 1/2" wide, 15" deep and 1" tall. Sides are deeply paneled, and there is an engraved signature plaque at the top reading "Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers, Wis."
