Heintz Art Bronze Silver Overlay Vase 1910

An authentic signed "Heintz Art" Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts period bronze vase with sterling silver overlay dates from about 1910. In very fine original condition but for a dent in the base, this American antique is untouched and has not been cleaned or polished.

Otto Heintz was a renowned jeweler established in 1875 in Buffalo, NY. About 1906, the Heintz Art Metal Shop name was adopted for distinctive bronze artware with sterling silver overlays, usually with floral motifs and rich patinas.

This artistic vase has the original verdigris patination and is 8" tall.
