Pair of Carved Antique Throne or Hall Chairs

This spectacular pair of hall or throne chairs was lavishly carved and pierced with classical motifs about 1900. They have been newly upholstered in a luxurious European fabric, and are in great condition.

Walnut hardwood was used for the very solid and graceful frames, and the rich brown finish is in excellent condition with glowing patina.

These large palatial chairs match exactly and would work well in a front entry hall or at the ends of a dining table. Dimensions are 31" wide, 31" deep and 57" tall. The height of the seats is 19" from the floor.
