Entirely hand crafted about 1850, a kitchen pantry jelly cupboard has warm antique patina.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on solid poplar hardwood, preserving just enough mars and stains for a little character. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original knobs, on is still attached with a wooden screw.
Door panels are chamfered on this American made antique farmhouse furniture, said to be from Pennsylvania. Shelves are strong enough to be stacked with a year's worth of jellies and jams from the fall harvest, meant to last a full year. Cut square nail heads are visible.
Size is 45" wide, 19" deep and 51" tall.
