Reed & Barton Victorian Silverplate Tea & Coffee Service, Set Pat. 1878
A five piece Victorian silverplate coffee and tea service is signed by famous American silversmith, "Reed & Barton, Pat. 1878."
The set comprises a coffee pot, tea pot, covered sugar, creamer and waste for cold tea.
Lavishly hand engraved,there are "Florentined" or sand finish panels. The silverplate is original and worn in spots, see photos.
Lion lid handles and clipper ship thumb rests are picturesque on this footed set. The tallest piece is the coffee pot at 11" tall and 10" across.
