Revell Chicago Signed 1940 Vintage Hepplewhite Secretary Desk, Marquetry
Signed by noted maker, "Revell of Chicago" about 1940, this superior quality secretary desk is solid mahogany with an excellent satiny finish.
There is delicate inlaid banding plus a satinwood and ebony marquetry medallion in the Hepplewhite manner. Embossed brasses are original on bow front dovetailed drawers.
The drop front has a working lock and automatic supports. Inside are small cubicles and drawers on this classic vintage furniture.
Measurements are 38" wide, 20" deep and 42" tall, the desktop is 28 1/2" high.
