A rustic coffee table was cut down from a taller work table about 1860. Solid chestnut and other hardwoods have an excellent finish, preserving loads of stains and mars for antique character.
Joints have carved wooden pegs on this American made antique furniture. Giant square cut nails are visible and this primitive furniture is reglued to serve another generation.
Measurements are 53 1/2" long, 31" wide and 21" tall.
