Secretary Desk & Bookcase, Walnut Antique signed Blackhawk Rockford #28869
A charming narrow secretary desk from the 1920's has a bookcase top in the English William and Mary style, signed "Rockford by Blackhawk Furniture." The arched top is flanked by finials.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, flattering the matched walnut burl. Inside the drop front are tiny drawers and cubicles plus a few ink stains for character.
A key operates locks on the drop front and top drawer of this American made antique library furniture. Drawers have dovetailed joints, hardware is original.
Measurements are 25" wide, 18" deep, 78" tall and the desk top is 30" high.
