Set of 10 Hand Painted Georgian Chinoiserie Style Vintage Dining Chairs

A set of ten Georgian style dining chairs were hand painted with raised enamel in the Chinoiserie manner about 50 years ago. Purchased from Marshall Field & Co. of Chicago, this vintage furniture is solid mahogany.

Shaped backs are comfortable, seats are newly upholstered. There are various touchups and restorations, see photos. The finish has been protected with a fresh coat of satiny lacquer.

Solid mahogany frames are reglued to be durable for another generation of use. Two arm chairs measure 22" wide, 24" deep, 39" tall and seats are 18" high, eight side chairs are 24" wide.
