Thai Antique late 1800's Teak Treasure Box or Chest, Iron Stand

Hand crafted in Thailand in the late 1800's, a sweet little treasure chest or trunk has wrought iron, brass and copper mounts. The solid teak chest has hand cut dovetail joints on this Asian furniture. The old finish preserves lots of mars and shrinkage separations from age for antique character.

Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The lock does not work, the custom made iron base is modern.

Measurements are 20" wide, 10" deep and 17" tall.
