Traditional Secretary Desk, Mirror Bookcase Doors

This charming drop front secretary desk has a double arched bookcase top with reverse hand cut or carved mirrors in the doors. The 5 lower drawers have shaped fronts and dovetails. The upper bookcase has adjustable shelves, and there is just a little "smoke" on the carved mirrors to show their age.

This vintage furniture dates from about 1940, and the deep reddish finish on mahogany and birch is in excellent condition. There are minor cracks and mars at the edges, brasses are original, and the dropfront has pullout supports. Inside are small compartments.

Dimensions are 38 1/2" wide, 19" deep and 6'8 1/2" tall.
