A Victorian hanging kerosene lamp from about 1880 has original hand painted roses on the milk glass shade and font. Ready to burn kerosene or lamp oil, it is not difficult to electrify if desired.
The rosy brass frame and "smoke bell" are richly embossed on this American made antique light. Cut crystal prisms are various ages.
Shade diameter is 14," the lamp is 17" across and adjusts up and down. The original spring loaded pulley mechanism does not work, so we have locked the chains at 43" height in photos, when the brake knob is unlocked, it can be adjusted from 37" to 65" tall overall.
