Victorian Antique Rocking Baby Cradle Bed

Made for a Victorian baby about 1875, a rocking stationary or platform cradle has an ingenious latch mechanism to lock in a fixed position for sleeping. Solid walnut with burl panels, the finish is excellent.

This robust American furniture can be disassembled to store until the next arrival. Porcelain casters are original.

Size of this antique is 39" long, 24" wide and 42" tall.
