Certainly the finest Victorian piano lamp we have ever seen, this oil burning floor lamp has been electrified. Solid brass with an onyx table, height is adjustable to use in a music room with a piano, organ or for a singer's music stand. Heavy and sturdy with an embossed spiral column and filigree base, this antique light dates from the 1880's.
The polished natural onyx has beautiful grain. There is a switch just below the etched glass globe, which is a modern replica.
Diameter of this magnificent lamp is 17," height is 6' 1" and raises to 8' 6."
