The centerpiece of an elegant Victorian table, this "Epergne" is blown glass from about 1880, highlighted with opal and cranberry rims. The worn gold plated center hardware is original on this American antique.
Remarkably, we see no damage to the delicate hand made ruffled glass. In an affluent household, the vases would have held flowers, and roses would have floated in the lower bowl.
Measurements of this picturesque work of art in glass are 15" across and 22 1/2" tall.
