A sweet little "slipper" bench has hand stitched needlepoint and petite point upholstery and dates from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880.
The solid walnut base is strong and durable with a very fine finish. Under the lid is a compartment for slippers on this American made antique furniture.
Size is 20" long, 10" deep and 18" tall.
