Crafted of solid quarter-sawn oak about 1890, this beveled mirror and gallery may have been the top of an organ, buffet or fireplace mantel. The late Victorian or Eastlake period is shown by the charming incised "spoon" or "chip" carving.
An original beveled glass mirror is excellent, and the golden brown finish is very fine on solid quarter-sawn oak. Size of this American antique is 51" wide, 10" deep and 36" tall.
