Country Carpenter's Workbench, Kitchen Island

A rugged antique Victorian woodworking bench makes a great kitchen island or table for wine tasting and appetizers.

Solid hard maple and pine, there are 2 working vises or clamps with huge wooden screws. A recessed tray originally held tools on this American country furniture from about 1900.

The finish is very warm, there is wonderful patina - stains, mars and wear on this picturesque antique.

For handling, the top lifts off the base, which is made with mortise and tenon joints. Measurements are 6' 8" long, 24" wide excluding the handles on the vise clamps, including the handles total size is 7' 1" long, 33" wide and 33" tall.
