1930's Vintage 54 Drawer File or Collector Specimen Cabinet, Jewelry Chest

Made in the 1930's for the anthropology department of a Wisconsin university, this 54 drawer file would be functional for a collector or as a jewelry chest. Walnut with fine moldings, the new finish is excellent on this American made vintage furniture.
Drawers have original wooden knobs, some are lined with felt. Interior size is 9" x 15" and 1 1/4" deep, except for the deeper bottom drawers.
Overall size is 39" wide, 19" deep and 46" high.
