Carved Chinese Camphor Trunk or Coffee Table
Lavishly hand carved in China in the 1930's, this trunk or chest depicts a historical story told on a card inside, and would be an beautiful and interesting coffee table.
The deep finish is in excellent condition on this richly detailed furniture. Inside is a lift out tray and lining of aromatic camphor wood, which repels insects like our cedar.
Measurements of this intricate Asian chest are 35" long, 18" deep and 19" tall.
