Sophisticated hand carved artistry is exceptional on this standard full or double size bed, crafted of solid quarter sawn oak. French furniture from about 1895, the original satiny finish is remarkably well preserved with warm patina, there are only minor mars at the edges.
The finesse and subtlety of detailing, classical fluted columns and raised panels are all lovely, the flower basket design is striking.
Dimensions of this historic bed are 5' wide, 84" long, the headboard is 57" tall and the footboard is 31" tall.
