Country French Long Case Oak 1880 Antique Grandfather Clock, Quartz Movement

This authentic Country French long case or grandfather clock case dates from around 1880 and has been fitted with a new quartz battery movement and dial.

Hand carved of solid oak, the exceptionally artistic detailing and shaped raised panels are outstanding. The original finish is very well preserved, and has been waxed and buffed so that all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

This historic European antique furniture measures 17" wide, 12" deep and 7' 6" tall.
