Gothic Carved Oak Dutch Bookcase or Library Cabinet, 1920's Vintage, Open Center
Carved of solid oak in the Gothic manner about 1920 in Holland, this library cabinet or bookcase with open center shelves has wonderful details.
The tops of both pieces have been revarnished for durability, the balance of the original finish is in very fine condition, and has been waxed so all that is needed to maintain its luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Doors have individual working locks.
Wrought iron hardware is original on this Dutch antique furniture, two separate pieces for easier moving. Traditional motifs include "linen fold" door panels and Gothic tracery.
Measurements are 71" wide, 20" deep and 61" tall.
