Irish Pine Antique 1850's Country Pine Primitive Cabinet 89" Pantry Cupboard
A country pine two piece cupboard was hand crafted for a farmhouse in Ireland in the 1850's.
The old finish has wonderful warm antique patina on wormy pine, and has been waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Joints are secured with carved wooden pegs on this historic furniture. There are warps, losses and shrinkage separations from age, plus various restorations, see photos.
The interior has shelves of various ages and some old paint. Knobs are solid brass but not original. The upper section lifts off for easier delivery on this primitive cabinet.
Measurements are 89" wide at the crown, 19" deep and 7' 11" tall.
