Signed with a burned in brand about 1905 by famous Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period maker, "Limbert," this chair has exquisite buttery soft recent leather upholstery. A back cushion is held in place with velcro strips, the removable seat cushion is comfortable.
The solid quarter sawn oak frame is strong and tight, secured with wooden pegged joints. The finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. We assume that the base is later, this historic chair was probably born as a rocker.
Dimensions are 27" wide, 28" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 16" high.
