Painted 1811 Antique Pine Trunk, Coffee Table
Signed and dated 1811, a pine trunk has original paint and would make a charming coffee table. Entirely hand made and hand planed, there are wooden pegs and wrought iron hardware.
The painted finish has beautiful antique patina and is well worn. Wrought iron hardware is original, there is a key and the lock is fully functional. Inside is a small compartment for valuables. A hole was cut in the back, now filled in, for unknown reasons.
This wonderful furniture from England measures 44" wide, 22" deep and 18 1/2" tall.
