Said to be from Pennnsylvania, a solid cherry pantry cupboard was hand made about 1840.
Refinished and restored to serve another generation, the antique patina is warm on this two piece country furniture.
Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints, panels are chamfered and hand planed and there are square nails. All but one of the glass panes are wavy and original, the top left pane is a little foggy. There are some warps and shrinkage cracks from age, see photos.
Measurements are 58" wide, 24" deep and 78" tall. The base cabinet is 36" tall.
