Renaissance Credenza Sideboard, Red Marble Top

Palatial Renaissance design furniture from the 1920's, this sideboard or credenza has a famous red "Rosso Levanto" marble top.

Walnut with matched burl, the original finish has understated dark gold highlighting on the artistic carving. The patina is beautiful with slight wear, there has been varnish added later and the finish is in very fine condition.

Italian extra-thick marble has beautiful grain and a few flakes at the edges. Interior drawers are dovetailed.
