This set of 6 exceptionally sturdy country dining chairs date from about 1900. They were made in Wisconsin of solid ash and hard maple, with a warm golden finish in excellent condition.
Totally solid, these chairs are substantial furniture designed for daily family use, with double rungs between all the legs and "hip-huggers" connecting the seat and back.
The sculpted seat together with angled and curved back make these antique chairs very comfortable. Size is 17" wide, 22" deep and 38" tall.
