Carved Oak 1900 Antique Sofa or Hall Settee

A hand carved solid oak sofa or hall settee dates from about 1900 and shows Arts and Crafts influence. The original dark finish is remarkably well preserved.

This sofa has stylized lion paw feet and classical fluting - old tufted upholstery shows very little wear, and springs are firm but comfortable. The back side is unfinished, and the frame is strong on this distinctive antique furniture from Denmark.

Size is 72" wide, 30" deep, 45" tall and the seat is 18" high.
