Baker Signed Georgian Style Vintage Secretary Desk & Bookcase, Mirror Doors

An elegant secretary desk with bookcase top from about 25 years ago has classic Georgian design, signed by famous maker, "Baker."

Walnut with burl and inlaid banding has an excellent original satiny finish, subtly distressed for character. Brass hardware and working locks are original. Shaped and beveled mirrors in the doors have "smoke" to look antique and could be replaced with clear glass if desired. Drawers have solid oak dovetailed sides.

Inside is a gold tooled leather writing surface. There are two pull out candle rests. Upper shelves are adjustable. The pediment and finial in the crown are authentic on this vintage furniture, which is two separate pieces for easier transport.

Dimensions are 29" wide, 20" deep, 7' 6" tall and the desktop is 29" high.
