A rugged swivel desk chair from about 1915 is solid quarter sawn oak. The design shows Craftsman influence.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars for a little antique character. The frame is reglued to serve another generation.
An original iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Curved lumbar spindles and the sculpted seat are comfortable on this American made antique library or office furniture. Ball bearing wheels are modern replacements.
Measurements are 23" wide, 23" deep, 35" tall and the seat is 18" deep and 18" high as shown, adjustable up and down.
