Victorian Antique Carved Commode or Small Chest

Dating from the Civil War era about 1860, this solid walnut commode or small chest has hand carved fruit pulls. The drawer has round or pin and cove dovetails, typical of the era.

The deep polished finish is excellent, and this charming antique furniture has countless uses. It measures 31" wide, 16" deep, 35" tall, and the top is 29" above the floor. W-C4028
