Country French Carved Oak 1910 Dining Set, Table & 2 Draw Leaves, 6 Chairs
Hand carved of solid oak about 1910, this genuine Country French or Provincial dining set includes a table with two draw leaves and six chairs. Table leaves and top are revarnished for durability. The rest of the finish is original, waxed and buffed so that all that is needed to maintain the warm luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Finely crafted European vintage furniture, understated details are expertly carved. The table top is a diamond inlaid parquet with a "three dimensional" look. Size is 39" wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is about 25" underneath and length when closed is 59," with both pull out leaves extended, length is 8' 5" overall.
Chairs are strong and tight, reglued to served another generation. Seats are newly upholstered in European fabric and size is 20" wide, 21" deep, 40" tall and seats are 19" high.
