Dining tables are some of the most used pieces of furniture in a home and should make a statement. With seven leaves to extend a total of twelve feet and fantastically carved lion sculptures, this 5' round table commands attention wherever it is placed.
- American antique 1890s furniture
- Missing label but attributed to famous furniture maker, "R. J. Horner"
- Deeply sculpted quarter sawn oak
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor mars & base has shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Pedestal "splits" to extend, revealing a center leg for extra support
- Seven 12" matching leaves with skirts or aprons
Table size is 60" round when closed and 29.5" tall. Legroom is 25" high. With all 7 leaves in place, length is 144" overall.
