Empire 1820 Antique Mahogany Bowl & Pitcher Washstand, Bedside Table
An Empire period 1820's washstand has a flip lid to accommodate a bowl and pitcher, and could be a nightstand or end table.
Solid mahogany has an excellent deep finish on this American made furniture, which shows Sheraton influence. There are shrinkage separations from age for antique character, see photos. The drawer has a curved front, hand cut dovetail joints and a chamfered bottom.
Measurements are 22" wide,18" deep and 32 1/2" tall.
