This style of writing table or desk was called a "spinet" because it resembled the musical instrument. Dating from about 1925, this charming antique furniture appears to be a table, but flips open to create a writing desk.
The writing surface slides forward, inside are a swivel inkwell, tiny cubicles and drawers. Below is a larger dovetailed drawer. The satiny finish is excellent on all four sides, and size is 44" wide, 21" deep, 33" tall, the writing area is 29" high.
