This elegant triple armoire has flowing and graceful lines. It is richly hand-carved at the edges with "bombe" or convex panels of walnut burl and the center door has a mirror.
This dramatic and artistic Northern Italian villa furniture was crafted about 1910 with exquisite workmanship. The original satiny finish has been polished, it has wonderful warm golden brown patina and lots of antique character. Typical of intricate burl grain - there are tiny separations, bubbles and irregularities.
Brasses are original, drawers have hand cut dovetails and there is a hint of "smoke" to the plate glass mirror to show its age. Right and center sections have closet poles, the empty interior could be fitted with shelves or dividers as desired.
This lovely wardrobe disassembles for moving. Measurements are 52" wide, 15" deep and 6' tall. Matching pieces in photos are priced separately, call or email for availability.
