Carved Sideboard, Buffet or Bar Cabinet, Marble Top

Masterfully hand carved of walnut, this opulent sideboard, buffet or bar cabinet has curved glass doors and a gorgeous green marble top. The original glowing finish is excellent in a golden brown tone.

Shaped and beveled mirrors are original from about 1915, as it the embossed bronze hardware. This is antique furniture with absolutely brilliant craftsmanship in every way - doors have matched raised panels, drawers have tiny hand cut dovetails. Even the back is paneled in solid oak.

Gracefully proportioned, the high relief shell crest is especially stunning - it gives the illusion of moving. Curved glass corner display areas are mirrored inside and have adjustable plate glass shelves.

There are minor flakes at the edges of the 1 1/2" thick Italian green and white marble. Measurements are 5'11" wide, 24" deep, 5'10" tall and the marble top is 43" high.
