Lane Signed 1930's Walnut Cedar Chest Bench

Signed by famous maker, "Lane of Altavista, Virginia" in the late 1930's, this cedar lined chest or bench has the scent of mothballs inside. The exterior is walnut with an excellent restored finish, there are minor mars at the edges for a little character, see photos.
The original latch has been removed for safety, but is included on this American made vintage furniture.
Size is 48" long, 20" deep and 23" tall.
