Swedish 1860 Antique Painted Country Pine Bench
Hand crafted in Sweden about 1860, this country pine bench is sweetly hand painted in Rosemaled style.
The strong and sturdy frame has carved wooden pegs and hand cut dovetail joinery at the ends.
The worn blue paint bears charming floral folk art motifs and appears original, judging by the mars and losses on this rustic furniture. This picturesque bench or settle has lots of antique character - dings and wear, see photos.
Measurements are 6' long, 15" deep, 36" tall and the seat is 19" high.
