A lovely hand-carved alabaster sculpture is a bust of a maiden, in a serene and introspective pose. The milky translucent alabaster is beautiful, tiny details of embroidery and draping are exquisite. Other than a little roughness at the edges, we see no damage.
Traditional artistry from Italy about 1900, this work of art shows Art Nouveau influence. Measurements are 14" tall and 9" wide.
