This beautifully carved mahogany console or flip top game table is American Empire furniture from the early 1900's.
The lustrous finish is in excellent condition. A solid mahogany top swivels and flips open to form a square game table.
Richly carved, the acanthus motif pedestal and lion paw feet show masterful artistry on this lovely antique. On the backside, hand cut dovetail joints are visible.
Size when closed is 36" wide, 18" deep and 30 1/2" tall. Open size is 36" square.
