Hand carved of solid oak about 1900, this understated library bookcase reflects the European version of Arts and Crafts design. The original deep dark finish is very fine with rich patina. There are minor mars and wears for a little antique character, see photos.
Stylized paw feet and understated carving show artistic expertise. Hand cut dovetails secure the backside. Shelves are adjustable on metal pegs on this antique furniture from Denmark.
