A beautiful antique oak dining or library desk recaptures the spirit of Henry VIII and English Tudor design, and is signed by famous American maker, "Berkey and Gay." In wonderful condition, this table has 2 pull out leaves.
Everything is totally solid and substantial, the rich brown glossy finish is excellent. Expertly carved in the mid 1920's, the turned legs and lavishly carved detail is exquisite. Edges of the table were artfully shaped to look like hundreds of years of wear.
The table measures 38" wide, 30" tall, legroom underneath is about 24" high, and 66" long when closed; with both self-storing leaves pulled out, length is 8' total.
Chairs in photos are available separately.
