Signed "Armspear of NY," a railroad switch lantern from the early 1900's has its original burner plus red and green lenses. Black finished iron with a nicely worn finish, this train lamp was well used.
Burning oil or kerosene, the lift out tank has a burner and wick with a pyrex chimney, and also the fill cap. There is a handle so the wick could be adjusted from the outside.
Size of this American antique is 9" across and 16" tall.
