Masterfully hand carved about 1870 in Austria, this cabinet, linen chest or small armoire has remarkable three dimensional carved fruit.
This cabinet is hand made of walnut with matched burl panels and ebonized accents, there are fluted columns and an upper gallery. The original finish is in beautiful condition with minor mars at the edges and exceptionally warm antique patina. Locks are operational.
The interior is very clean in light oak, drawers and case are hand dovetailed. Shelves are adjustable on wooden supports.
Measurements of this dramatic European furniture are 48" wide, 22" deep and 63" tall.
